  
Because of its geographical position, the field - or wilderness, as it is sometimes referred to as - 
will invariably become the site for any conflict between Vlaurkir and Imrahil. So also this time.
It is a rather open grassland, well suited for mobile warfare. There are a few settlements and growing
of crops around, but all were razed on the very first days of battle. No longer a quaint rural habitat, 
the field is now roamed by the two armies. Both have erected temporary tentcamp
headquarters here, in order to maximize control over troops.
